The situation:
The business was in a state of flux and there was a chance it would be put up for sale. Although this wasn’t definite, internal permanent candidates didn’t want to move from a secure position to an uncertain environment and so an interim was needed. The marketing and sales functions needed strong and experienced management to bring them together and ultimately build the team. The website also needed to be made transactional and required updating.
The solution:
Alium provided an experienced interim with relevant sector experience, someone who would not be fazed by the possibility of the company being sold, as the position was likely to be vulnerable post-sale. The interim reviewed and analysed the website, created a business plan and brought the team together into a more cohesive and strong unit in preparation for the future.
