Identifying high flyers
15/10/2008
Identifying high flyers for the European operation of the oil subsidiary of a global petroleum company.
The state of this company’s European succession plan was causing concern.
Alium briefed the executive board members and then jointly conducted interviews with 25 senior managers across Europe. We identified the underlying potential, genuine strengths and limitations of the individuals. We also drafted reports and finalised them with the respective board members. As a result, the board gained real insights into their operations in Europe – and, in particular, the true potential of individuals and the development needed to accelerate their progress into critical roles. For each individual, we conducted development-orientated feedback sessions together with the board member.
