Experience
Sally joined the Alium team in May 2013 bringing a wealth of experience from both the private and public sector. Having worked early on in her career as a researcher/lecturer, Sally then went on to gain over 15 years of business best practice in transformational change within some of the UK’s leading firms.
As a senior executive, she held responsibilities for strategic market development, corporate strategy, business development and operations in science/education; economic development/knowledge transfer, local authorities, business support and criminal justice.
Sally has also worked extensively for central and local government to deliver significant benefits across front line services. As part of this portfolio, Sally was an executive director at the National Physical Laboratory with responsibility of delivering third party revenues – which she achieved in 3 years, doubling revenue.
Responsibilities
Heading up the Education Practice, Sally and her team are responsible for the immediate provision of senior interims and teams to lead on programmes of work and business solutions. Her teams can provide director and senior level management roles across all traditional functional areas such as business development, HR, finance and IT, as well as business leaders to deliver transformational programmes.
Did you know….
Sally holds a PhD in international political economy/International relations. She was the first female Executive Director of the world- class physics institute the National Physical Laboratory.
